Tara Maddox

Tara grew up around Dupree Security Group, attending trade shows at the age of 5. She attended the University of Georgia where she received two bachelor’s degrees, one in Sport Management and one in Business Administration. While attending college, she worked as a security guard for Dupree Security Group. Tara spent many years working with TV Networks such as ESPN, ABC and CBS on events such as Final Four, UFC, NCAA Chick-fil-a Kickoff and NCAA Chick-fil-a Bowl. Under the guidance of her Uncle, Les Dupree, to experience multiple sides of the event industry, Tara spent many years managing the attendee experience for trade shows such as Digital Signage Expo and LightShow Southwest. In 2023, Tara returned to Dupree Security Group to contribute to the family legacy by continuing the work her grandfather started.
